SCUBA-L NED WEB Ring
Welcome to the "SCUBAL" ring website. Webrings are used on the internet to group webpages with the same theme or topic together, making these webpages easily found by internet users looking for information based on that particular topic.
The "SCUBAL" ring is primarily a link between the members of the SCUBA-L LISTSERV but is opened to websites who promote the sport of scuba diving, be it promoting dive locations, dive equipment, dive companies or even scuba diving itself.
How to Join The Ring
Here is how to join the ring. Firstly, read the rules below carefully and fill in the form below. After you have submitted the form, you will be emailed with a confirmation to your email address. The email will confirm your site id, name of your homepage, your homepage's url, your name and your password. At the same time, it will also have the SCUBAL HTML fragment which you can customize after cutting and pasting it into your page. The customization should include substituting your name as the owner of the page and chaing the id=2 to be whatever ID you were assigned. You may also wish to change the picture that is used but try to use something associated with SCUBA.
Secondly, email the owner of an existing "SCUBAL" site and ask them to add you to the ring. Be sure to include your Site ID Number in the email message. They will look at your page to make sure it is worthy of addition and make sure the SCUBAL HTML fragment on your page is okay.
After checking out your page, the existing "SCUBAL" owner will take your Site ID Number and use it to add you to the ring. You should then receive an email telling you that you've been added.
You should now be able to navigate the entire ring until to make it back to your own page (although it may take a while). An easy way to make sure it is working is to go to the homepage of the person who added you and see if the next button takes you to your own page.
Before adding your site to the ring, please make sure it follows the rules stated below.
